Our origins

Recognizing that her unique multi-ethnic skincare needs were overlooked by large multinational corporations catering to the masses, our founder, Namitha, took matters into her own hands.

Driven by the lack of personalized solutions, she embarked on a mission to create the support and assistance she once sought herself.

What have we achieved so far

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Starting with just 50p from her father, Nam's first business began as a children's art camp in her mother's garage in India during her pre-teen years. She then journeyed through a career in hospitality and eventually landed in London's fintech sector in risk management all backed by her heritage rich in Ayurvedic wisdom.

Nam's journey to Tamra was heavily influenced by her five-year battle with cystic acne, igniting her passion for skincare and her desire to boost others' confidence. Her goal is to make a positive impact on the world.

Our foundation

Tamra for consent education

Tamra's foundation, rooted in grassroots efforts, serves as a catalyst for positive change within our community. Beyond being a business, Tamra embodies a greater purpose.

So far, we have educated 3,300 students on consent with our partners at the London School of Economics.

Our goal for this year is to extend our impact and collaborate with our university to educate over 5,000 students on the importance of consent. Read more on Our Impact
